Procedure documentationCreating a Drilldown View

In Dashboard Builder, all information is delivered in dashboards. A dashboard consists of one of more tiles, each of which typically displays the values of one KPI. If you choose a tile, the drilldown views for this tile are displayed. A drilldown view typically displays more detailed information about the KPI, for example, the development of the value over time.

Note Note

For information about how to create a tile, see Creating and Editing Tiles.

End of the note.

This procedure explains how to create a drilldown view for a KPI.

  2. Choose the Add pushbutton (+) next to the dropdown box to open the configuration window for the drilldown view. The Add New KPI screen appears.

  3. Fill in the following property fields of this drilldown view.

This detail view is possible for all tiles whose data is supplied via a BW query. It gives you the option of creating any drilldowns and filters from the query's fields and to output these visualizations as both a table and a chart (see Usage of the Detail View "Generic Analytics Application"). This detail view does not require any further configuration.
