Import and Deployment 

Use

You have various ways to get objects in the portal:

·        Import objects that are in an archive with EPA format using the import function of the portal.

·        Deploy objects to the portal in SDA or SCA format using the SAP Software Deployment Manager. To find out how to create SDA and SCA archives that may contain Portal Content objects as well as PAR files and other J2EE applications, see Creation of SDA and SCA Archives.

·        Deploy EPAs directly from the development environment. See Adding Transport Packages to NWDI.

·        Use the CTS export option from the portal. See Export Using the Change and Transport System.

Integration

Use the SAP Software Deployment Manager to deploy software packages in SDA or SCA format. For more information, see Software Deployment Manager.
