Importing EP 5.0 Packages
Use
Importing EP 5.0 packages means performing a migration. Packages with EP 5.0 objects may have:
· a PKG format if they are exported from a EP 5.0 installation. The file in PKG format contains references to other dependent files having different formats, depending on the object type they contain.
· a ZIP format if they are downloaded as a business package.
The following section describes the following scenarios:
· You import and migrate export packages from an EP 5.0 portal.
· You import and migrate EP 5.0 business packages that were downloaded from the SAP Developer Network (SDN).
