 Job

Definition

An object for describing positions.

Use

You assign a job to positions in order to describe multiple positions with the same properties at once. The properties of a job are passed on to the assigned positions. Jobs are also used to define the personnel information of reference force elements.

Structure

Technically, the job corresponds to the job (object type C) in the Organizational Management component.

Status and Validity

Status and validity correspond to the object type job in the Organizational Management component.

Properties

The following fields are available on the tab pages in the Structures Workbench :

  • Name

    The identifying indicator of the job (the same as the tab page of the same name for the force element)

  • Description

    The descriptive user-defined texts for the job (the same as the tab page of the same name for the force element)

  • Specific Chars

  • Personnel Categories

    See Personnel Categories

  • Tasks

    The assigned tasks (the same as the tab page of the same name for the force element)

  • Material Planning Objects and Material Containers

    See Authorized Materials (Job)

  • Operative Weighting

    The weighting of assignments for the job (the same as the tab page of the same name for the force element)

  • Roles tab page

    The assigned roles (the same as the tab page of the same name for the force element)
