Assigning Technical Objects (Owner Assignment)
Use
You assign a technical object to the force element that is the owner of the technical object.
Prerequisites
You have familiar with the Technical Objects tab page.
Procedure
You are in the
Structures Workbench
(edit mode). You may have to select an
organizational measure
before you can process assignments.
Choose the force element to which you want to assign a technical object.
Choose the
Technical Objects
tab page.Choose
Create Relationship
.Select the required technical object.
In the
Start Date
/End Date
andStart Time
/End Time
fields, specify the assignment period.Save your changes.
The new owner assignment is created in
Planned
status and can be activated using the status change functions.
Alternatively,
you can navigate to the
Status Board
application by choosing the
Status Board
pushbutton. In the status board, select a technical object and transfer it to the
Structures Workbench
by choosing the
Transfer selection
pushbutton.
To also create a new
utilizer assignment
as well as an owner assignment, you can choose the
Alternative Equipment Views
pushbutton to call the report
Assigned Master Equipment
and create a corresponding purchase requisition.
Note
When the goods issue is posted, the necessary changes (such as responsible work center and cost center) are automatically made to the technical object.
