You can precalculate and broadcast Web templates, queries, query views, reports, and workbooks. To do this, you create broadcast settings in the BEx Broadcaster or the broadcasting wizard.
You can broadcast BI objects as either precalculated documents or online links (workbooks cannot be broadcast as online links, however). You have the options of broadcasting by e-mail or broadcasting to the portal. Furthermore, you can print these BI objects in the required format.
You cannot edit the broadcast settings for multiple BI objects simultaneously. However, you can precalculate multiple broadcast settings at the same time using the defined times for scheduling broadcasts.
At least one of the BI objects (Web template, query view, report, or workbook) that is to be broadcast is available.
System administration has fulfilled the necessary prerequisites.

If you no longer need a broadcast setting, select it in the BEx Broadcaster and choose Delete in the context menu.
In Broadcasting Administration (transaction RSRD_ADMIN), you can search for broadcast settings and their schedules using various criteria. You can edit the settings and delete any of them that are no longer needed.

To make the broadcast settings available in various BI systems, transport them.
If the transport system is activated, a dialog box for specifying a transport request appears when you save the broadcast settings. Enter the required transport request.
If a fixed standard BEx transport request is specified, the broadcast settings are automatically written to this request and the transport request dialog box is not displayed.
The technical name of the object type (TLOGO) for broadcast settings in transport requests is BRSE.
