Procedure documentationProcessing Audit Packages

You define audit packages for queries about legacy data that you manage in the ILM store of the Retention Warehouse system. An audit package determines which data in an ILM store needs to be available for queries. To view data, you extract it to SAP NetWeaver BW based on audit packages and then use the relevant queries. You can also view the data defined in the audit packages locally (in ILM Retention Warehouse).

Procedure

1. Call the Function for Processing Audit Packages

In the menu for the ILM Retention Warehouse Cockpit for administrators, choose Start of the navigation path Audit Packages Next navigation step Process Audit Packages End of the navigation path.

In the SAP system, you can also use transaction ILMAPK to call the function.

2. Select or Define the Worklist for Processing Audit Packages

To process an audit package, you first select an active worklist. If no work list exists when you call up audit package processing , the system asks you to define one. According to how the worklist is defined, the system creates a list of audit packages that you can process.

For more information, see Defining Worklists for Processing Audit Packages

3. Managing and Creating Audit Packages

Create audit packages based on the audit package templates. Prepare the audit package data for reporting by extracting it from the ILM Retention Warehouse to the BW system or by downloading it as a file. You can use the status displays to view the processing state of each audit package.
