Downloading Audit Package Data from ILM RW Systems

You can import the contents of each table in an audit package from the ILM Retention Warehouse as a file that you can, for example, download for auditing purposes (in the SAP Audit Information Systems AIS format).

Prerequisites

In the ILM implementation guide, you have created directory groups for Retention Warehouse, under which the system can create AIS files.

You have called up the function for editing audit packages and selected a worklist.

Procedure

1. Importing Contents of Table to a File

Select the audit package.
Select Local Reporting Display Table or Create File .
Execute the predefined steps:
1. Enter the name of the table.
2. Optional: Restrict access to the archive based on the selection criteria.
3. Define the output of the table contents as follows:
  1. Choose the Download Files output option.
  2. Enter the file name and other required data. (The directory group needs to be entered in Customizing for RW.)
4. In the archive hierarchy, the system creates a file that contains the contents of the table as a subnode of the table.
  If you select the file, you can access the function for displaying, downloading, and deleting functions.
  
  To edit the files created for the audit package without creating a new file first, proceed as described in the following step.

2. Editing Created Files (Display, Download, Delete)

Select the audit package.
Select Local Reporting Edit Created Files .
Select the file in the archive hierarchy.
Select the required function (Display File, Download File, Delete File).
If you have selected Download File, you can save the file in the download directory of your PC.

If you want to delete all created files at the same time, call up the function described below.

If you want to create a new file with the contents of one of the tables being displayed, first select the table and then the Display Data or Create File function. Execute the defined steps as described above (Import Contents of Table to a File).

Select Local Reporting Delete All Created Files .
