Content Administration 

Purpose

Content administration is for managing the following types of KM-related content:

·        Portal Content: iViews in which you access KM functions and other Portal Content Directory items (see Initial Portal Content).

·        KM Content: Objects that are stored in KM repositories and tools for managing them.

 

Integration

The Portal Content and KM Content worksets are integrated in the Content Administration role of SAP Enterprise Portal. For more information on the preconfigured roles of SAP Enterprise Portal, see Pre-Configured Roles.

 

Features

In the portal, you can find the KM Content page at Content Administration ® KM Content. It allows you access to all folders and documents that are stored in internal or external repositories (see KM Content).

 

The Toolbox node in the detailed navigation contains the following entries:

 

·        Authorizations

For checking security settings and setting permissions (see Permissions iView)

 

·        Folder Settings

For resetting the layout settings for folders (see Resetting Folder Settings)

 

·        Reports

For running system-wide analyses and functions (see Reports)
