Initial Portal Content 

The portal content directory (PCD) allows you to delegate portal tools and content to administrators or users. You can give permissions for administrating portal content items in the PCD. For more information, see Delegated Administration.

 

Initial content in the KM standard delivery contains items of the following types:

·        iViews and iView templates

·        Portal pages

·        Worksets

·        Role

 

Do not move, copy, or change the initial content under Content Provided by SAP. If you want to modify an item, generate a delta link of the SAP item. For more information, see Delta Links and SAP Content Objects.

To create iViews with KM functions, choose New ® iView from the Portal Content Directory and then choose one of the KM iView templates.

 

The iViews for accessing initial portal content are located in the top-level navigation area of SAP Enterprise Portal under Content Administration ® Portal Content. The KM items are located at the following paths:

·        Portal Content ® Content Provided by SAP ® Admin Content ® Content Administrators

·        Portal Content ® Content Provided by SAP ® Admin Content ® System Administrators

·        Portal Content ® Content Provided by SAP ® Content for Specialists ® com.sap.km.ContentManager

·        Portal Content ® Content Provided by SAP ® End User Content ® Standard Portal Users

·        Portal Content ® Content Provided by SAP ® Templates ® iView Templates
