Performing Calculations

You can perform calculations in ALV views. A large array of functions are available to help you produce meaningful and informatiive results on the basis of the numeric values in your list.

• Creating calculations is explicitly allowed for your application.

• Creating calculations is not forbidden for the column in question.

• The columns that you want to create calculations in contain numeric values (see Characteristics and Key Figures).

You can use the following functions to calculate values:

• Form and Delete Totals

• Form and Delete Mean Values

• Form and Delete Maximum/Minimum Values

• Form and Delete Subtotals

• Set the Drilldown Summation Level
