Calculating and Deleting Maximums/MinimumsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use
Prerequisites

You can calculate a maximum and minimum for one or more columns. Maximums and minimums can only be calculated for Key Figures.

Note

If a maximum and minimum is calculated using heterogeneous units, such as kilograms and liters or several currencies, a maximum and minimum is calculated for each unit.

Process
Calculating Maximum / Minimum
  1. Select one or more columns (these must fulfill the prerequisite described above).

  2. Choose Maximum/Minimum.

Result

Maximums and minimums are usually displayed with a yellow background in a separate line underneath the entries. If a maximum and minimum is calculated using heterogeneous units, such as kilograms and liters or several currencies, a maximum and minimum is calculated for each unit (a line with maximum / minimum is displayed for each unit).

Note

Depending on the list, the maximum / minimum may be displayed above the lines.

To delete a maximum or minimum, proceed as follows:

  1. Select one or more columns for which a maximum or minimum was calculated.

  2. Choose Maximum/Minimum.

In addition to the previously mentioned procedures, in full-screen mode you can also call the functions using the menu paths.

To calculate a maximum/minimum, proceed as follows:

  1. Select one or more column(s).

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Calculate Next navigation step Maximum/Minimum End of the navigation path.

To delete a maximum or minimum, proceed as follows:

  1. Select one or more columns for which a maximum or minimum was calculated.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Calculate Next navigation step Maximum/Minimum End of the navigation path.
