Depending on the administration role, system and content administrators share responsibility for the archiving process management. Content administrators are responsible for defining the content relevant for archiving. They can administer and monitor the Knowledge Management and Collaboration (KMC) archiving objects using the KMC archiving object browser.
System administrators are responsible for initiating the archiving process and deleting archived data whose retention period has expired. They can monitor the archiving process using the Trigger Archiving report.
