Changing Standing Requests
You can use this function to change Standing Requests . There are two ways of doing this depending on the request:
you can change the different settings in an individual standing request by using the manual change function
with closing operations, you can update the FM account assignments using the program in several standing requests; this uses the derivation strategy for reassignment.
Unlike “normal” requests, standing requests can also be changed after they have already been posted.
When you save a change, the program resets the document status “Document posted”, “Released” and “Document complete”. This means that the changed standing request must pass through the approval procedure again, before posting documents can be generated.
If the change affects the funds commitment, the program also updates the corresponding funds commitment. For more information on this, see Example: Standing Request .
Sometimes it is necessary to update account assignment changes linked to the fiscal year change in a large number of standing requests. You can use program Reassign Standing Requests (RFFMSRCICHNG) for these closing operations. In contrast to manual changes, only the FM account assignments are reassigned; the standing requests keep their document status. For more information, see the program documentation.
