On the initial screen, you define the selection criteria for the postprocessing orders that you want to display or process. You are provided with all the attributes or control parameters for a postprocessing order as selection criteria in addition to the comment and the processing method.

Prerequisites

You are on the Postprocessing Desktop: Edit Order - Initial Screen. For more information, see Displaying and Editing Postprocessing Orders. .

Procedure

  1. Perform one of the following steps:

    • Use the standard SAP settings by making no entries.

      Caution Caution

      If you delete the default entries in the Status and Order Assignment fields in the Selection Options group box, the standard settings apply.

    • Enter the relevant selection criteria in the Selection Options group box.

      Note Note

      To use the same selection criteria more than once in the initial screen, define a filter variant.

    • Choose an existing filter variant. For more information, see Using Filter Functions of the Postprocessing Desktop in the section on Using Existing Filter Variants.

    • Create a new filter variant or edit an existing filter variant by choosing Change Variant (Change Variant) in the application toolbar. For more information, see Using Filter Functions of the Postprocessing Desktop under the sections Creating Filter or Filter Variants and Changing Filter Variants.

    • If you want to display or edit a specific postprocessing and if you know the GUID of the postprocessing order, choose   Order   Direct Entry Using Order ID  . Continue with Point 3.

      Note Note

      The GUID for postprocessing orders is found on the Detail Screen of the Additional Data tab page.

  2. In the Technical Settings group box, you can restrict the number of postprocessing orders to be selected.

    Note Note

    If you executed the Customizing activity Define Selection Criteria for Postprocessing Orders in Customizing for Postprocessing Office under Order Data, the field contains the standard number that you entered in the Customizing activity. You can change the default value on the initial screen. However, the number of postprocessing orders to be selected cannot exceed the maximum number that you defined in the Customizing activity.

    If you have not executed the Customizing activity, the field contains the standard number of 500 and the maximum number is 10,000.

  3. Choose Execute (Execute).

Result

The Initial Screen appears.

If you have not used the filter functions, the system displays all the postprocessing orders that meet the following prerequisites:

  • The postprocessing orders have the status New or In Processing.

  • The postprocessing orders are in your worklist and/or you are the current processor for the postprocessing orders.
