You use this function to display or edit Postprocessing Orders. You use the dialog interface of Postprocessing Office, which is known as Postprocessing Desktop.

Postprocessing Desktop consists of the following screens:

Integration

In addition to the functions described here, you also have the callback methods Retry, Finish, and Fail that provide the following options for handling errors.

  • You use Finish if you can solve the problem without an additional service call, for example, with a workaround.

  • Fail classifies the message as “cannot be processed”, for example, because of incorrect data.

  • Retry enables the automatic or manual resubmission of failed actions.

The related functions on the dialog interface are called Confirm, Discard, and Retry.

These methods are available only with the corresponding service implementation. This is the case only if you use Error and Conflict Handler. For more information, see the documentation on the Error and Conflict Handler (CA-FS-ECH) component.

Activities

From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose   Cross-Application Components   Postprocessing Office   Postprocessing Order   Edit Postprocessing Order   or Display Postprocessing Order. Or you can call the relevant transaction in the application menu of the implementation. The initial Postprocessing Desktop screen appears.
