Function documentation Creating a PLM Document for an Account Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This function is a method of the business object PLM Document. The system carries out all important business-related steps that need to be executed in order to successfully set locks on lockable objects in accordance with auditing requirements.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites described in the PLM document section must have been met and the listed settings made.

Activities

...

       1.      From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Account Management ® Posting Lock Management®  PLM Document ® Create ® Create PLM Document for Account.

       2.      Enter the account identificationdata for the account to which you want the PLM document to refer.

       3.      Enter the event typeon which the PLM document is to be based and choose Continue.

Note

You can select the event type by double-clicking in the Event Type Classes/Event Types group box.

       4.      The system reads the event type and generates a view of the PLM document with the tab pages permitted by the event type Customizing settings.

       5.      Now edit the tab pages that are displayed.

A PLM document of the Account document category basically has the following tab pages. You may be able to edit these, depending on the document status of the PLM document and the Business Workplace indicator.

       6.      Save your entries.
