This function allows you to create a set of predefined selections and target groups.

For more information about selections and target groups, see Selection.

The selection header that you create in this component is independent of any campaign, trade promotion, or activity journal. Therefore, a target group that is generated using a selection header can be used for both campaigns and trade promotions, and during creation of activity journals.

Generate a list of business partners based on specific criteria and assign an activity journal template.

Sales representatives use these activity journal templates, for example, to report on activities performed at the customer's site.

Generate a list of business partners and contacts whom you want to target for a campaign or trade promotion.

Sales representatives use target groups to generate activities, direct mail, and e-mail as part of campaigns and trade promotions.

Features

  • You can search for selections or target groups.

  • You can create selection headers and create copies of selection headers.

  • You can generate target groups using standard selection headers or advanced selection headers.

  • You can view a list of available target groups and the selection headers related to a target group. In addition, you can create, edit, and delete the descriptions for a target group.

  • You can copy the members of one target group and add, remove, or replace members in your current target group. You can also create mass mailings and send e-mail messages to the business partners or contacts in a target group, and to sales representatives who are responsible for a target group.
