This role corresponds to the SAP NetWeaver portal role Internal Sales Representative 1.5.
This role allows internal sales representatives to perform their tasks in SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC). For more information, see "Restrictions".
Internal sales representatives support and advise the sales team in all sales areas. Quickly and easily, these sales representatives can gather all the important information and process the relevant data from purchase order processing to payment receipt (order-to-cash process).
Internal sales representatives find their personal worklists, functions/services, and analyses on the initial page Sales and Distribution Processing, which is divided into several work centers.

This is an example role, which depicts the entire process from order processing to incoming payment. Instead of using the delivered role directly, you should copy it into one or several roles.
In the new, enterprise-specific roles, you adjust the menu elements to fit your planned process steps and tasks.

To implement this role, you must activate the business function LOG_SD_Cl_02 (Simplified Sales Processes in Sales and Distribution). This role belongs to the application component Sales and Distribution (SD). For more information, see System Prerequisites.
Depending on the system landscape being used, the role may require individual applications or reports from remote systems. This is usually the case for reports (system alias SAP_BW, SAP_BI). In that case, you need to create system connections. For more information, see 5.10 Remote Systems.
The name of the system connection usually corresponds to the name of the system alias, but you can also add specific connection attributes (_RFC, _HTTP, _HTTPS). The connection type for the ERP-NWBC roles is usually H.
This role contains the system alias SAP_BW.
Make the system settings in Customizing for Sales and Distribution, under Portal Role "Internal Sales Representative".
For the role in NWBC there are the following restrictions:
No authorization objects are assigned to this role, and therefore it cannot be used for authorization allocation.
The Work Overview work center from the SAP NetWeaver portal role is not available for the role in NWBC.
The Created Sales Document iView (web application lord_create_ext_comp) from the SAP NetWeaver portal role is not available.
