BI Report Tools
You use this function to extract and view SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (BI) reports and make them available on mobile applications such as Mobile Sales.
BI reports contain large amounts of operational and historical data. They are useful for analyzing data from several sources: SAP applications, other business applications, and external sources of data such as databases, online services, and the Internet.
A BI report consists of Microsoft Excel workbooks and BI query (BWF) files.
For more information, see Making Settings in SAP NetWeaver BI.
Users can view BI reports in the Reports component of Mobile Sales.
For more information, see Reports and Providing Mobile Clients with SAP NetWeaver BI Data.
You can retrieve BI report files from another mobile client and store them on your mobile client.
For more information, see BI Report Extraction.
You can upload BI reports and demo workbooks from your hard disk to the user database of a mobile client in the test environment. Then, you can test and view these reports.
In addition, you can upload demo workbooks to mobile clients. Demo workbooks are used for demonstrations to customers.
For more information, see BI Report Upload.
You can delete files that you have uploaded from the user database, using the Upload function. You can, for example, use this function when you have uploaded the wrong report to the user database.
You can assemble workbooks and BI queries before they are viewed on the mobile client.
For more information, see BI Workbook Assembly.
You can delete assembled BI reports. You use this function whenever there is a major change in the reports or when the reports on your mobile client are obsolete.
For more information, see BI Workbook Assembly.
