BI Workbook Assembly

This function allows you to merge BI queries and workbooks.

BI queries contain the data required for the BI report; therefore, they must be assembled with the workbooks before they can be viewed in a mobile application.

The assembled workbooks are stored in your user database; they are not uploaded to CRM. The assembled workbooks are identified by the file name, BWVIEWXLS.XLS. You can find them on your mobile device, on the local drive, at the path ...\Temp\Reports.

You can also delete the assembled workbooks when a major change is made to the reports or if the reports on your mobile application are obsolete. You would, for example, need to delete the assembled report, when the corresponding subscription for a report is changed in the Admin Console or when the report itself has been deleted in BI.

Prerequisites

In the Admin Console, you have made the necessary subscriptions to distribute workbooks copied from BI and the BI queries to mobile applications.
