Opportunity Template for Mass Generation 

Use

You use an opportunity template to mass generate opportunities related to a campaign or trade promotion.

Prerequisites

You have generated a target group. See Generating a Target Group.

Features

The opportunity template comprises the basic details of the opportunity you want to mass generate.

Activities

In the Marketing/Opportunity Template Details tile set create a new opportunity template by entering the relevant data for the opportunity you want to mass generate on the Opportunity Templates tile. Save your entries.

In Mobile Sales, you cannot create opportunity templates with transaction types that are blocked in CRM Enterprise.

In the Marketing/Opportunity Templates tile set, you can select an opportunity template with which to mass generate opportunities. For information on how to mass generate opportunities for a target group with the opportunity template, see Processing Mass Generated Opportunities.

In this tile set, you can also define the criteria for the person who will be responsible for the opportunity. For more information, see Determination of Persons Responsible and Defining Persons Responsible.
