Defining Persons Responsible 

Purpose

You follow this process to define the criteria for determining the persons responsible for mass-generated activities or opportunities. You have to define a separate set of criteria for each template that is to be used for mass generation. When you start mass generation, these criteria are used by the system to identify the persons responsible for each opportunity or activity, and give them the data they need (see Determination of Persons Responsible). 

Prerequisites

You have created an activity template or opportunity template. See Activity Template for Mass Generation or Opportunity Template for Mass Generation.

Process Flow

       1.      Navigate to the appropriate tile set, depending on whether you are working with an activity template or an opportunity template:

·         Activity template – Marketing/Activity Templates tile set

·         Opportunity template – Marketing/Opportunity Templates tile set

       2.      On the Persons Responsible Details tile, enter the relevant data. The entry you select for Role Type determines the name and type of the field that follows. The system uses the rank you assign to the criterion to determine the persons or persons responsible (see Determination of Persons Responsible).  

       3.      Save your entries.

Result

You can now start the mass generation of the activities or opportunities.
