Generating a Target Group 

Purpose

You use this process to generate a consolidated list of business partners and contact persons at whom you want to target a campaign or trade promotion. You can also use target groups for mass generation of activities, opportunities, direct mail, and e-mail as part of your campaign or trade promotion.

Process Flow

       1.      You create a selection header. See Creating Selections.

You can create a selection header with either standard or advanced selection (see Standard Selections and Advanced Selections).

       2.      You use the selections to generate a result list (an intermediate target group).

       3.      You generate a target group from one or more result lists.

 

Result

You can use the target group in a campaign or trade promotion.
