Creating Selections 

Use

In order to generate a target group for a campaign or trade promotion, you first have to create a selection. A selection comprises a selection header and the related selection criteria.

There are two types of selections: standard and advanced. See Standard Selections and Advanced Selections.

Process

       1.      Select the campaign or trade promotion for which you want to create selections, using Marketing ® Search.

       2.      In the navigation bar, choose Marketing ® Selections.

       3.      Choose New .

       4.      On the Selection Details tile, enter the selection type and selection name.

       5.      Save your entries.

The selection header details are displayed on the Selections tile.

       6.      Repeat steps 3 to 5 for each selection header you want to create.

       7.      Choose a hyperlink on the Selections tile to jump directly to the relevant selection criteria tile set.

On the List tile, select the desired campaign or trade promotion in the column at the far left.

On the Search tile, make a selection in the field Object Type and enter the search criteria.

Result

You can use a selection to create a target group.
