Process documentation Customization of the Companion User Interface

Purpose

This process describes the steps required to customize the user interface of a mobile client companion according to the modeling guidelines using Mobile Application Studio.

Process Flow

       1.      MAS user model the required tiles according to the following guidelines:

¡        Add controls to a tile within the suggested “form factor” design area.

¡        Add only those controls that are supported for a tile.

¡        Model only those events that are supported for a tile.

       2.      MAS users model tile sets by including only one tile in each tile set. For more information, see Model a Tile Set for a Companion.

       3.      MAS users model a business component according to the following guidelines:

¡        Model only one business component for a companion.

¡        Include more than one tile set in the business component, if required.

¡        Model an anchor hierarchy to support the hyperlinks created in a companion.
