Process documentation Model a UI Application for a Companion

Purpose

This process describes the steps required to create and design a UI application, which is used as the mobile client companion.

Prerequisites

You have identified the required business component to be included in the companion.

Process Flow

...

       1.      MAS users create a UI application by including the required business component. For more information, see Structure linkCreating an Application.

Note

You can include only one business component in a companion. You do not have to define the behavior of the application, as writing scripts is not supported.

       2.      MAS users create hyperlink targets for the required tile sets that need to be used the companion. They create hyperlinks by mapping each hyperlink target with an internal hyperlink source that has been created for a tile control. This mapping (hyperlink) allows the application user to navigate from a tile control (hyperlink source) to a tile set (hyperlink target) during runtime. For more information, see Structure linkCreating a Hyperlink Target and Structure linkLinking a Hyperlink Source and a Hyperlink Target.

Result

The mobile client companion has been modeled. The companion must be generated now to obtain runtime files.
