Inbox 
This
function allows you to view e-mails, rejections, and notifications that you
receive on your mobile client. This information enables you to track the
changes or errors that have occurred since the most recent data
synchronization. For more information about synchronization, see
Options for Server
Synchronization.
Inbox is integrated with:
· Components of the Mobile Sales, Mobile Service, and Mobile Service (R/3 Edition) applications such as Business Partners, Contact Persons, and Service Orders which exchange data with CRM Enterprise.
· Third-party tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes. This enables you to receive mails in your Inbox based on your mail client.

You have subscribed to the
Inbox Mapping subscription. The Inbox Mapping subscription ensures that navigation is possible
from the rejection to the component where the error originated. For more
information about subscriptions, see
Managing
Subscriptions.

Notifications will be generated for only those BDoc types for which inbox mapping information is maintained.

You have maintained the
required values with Inbox Maintenance of the
Cross-Component Settings component. These values
help you to navigate from a rejection in the Inbox
to a business component of a mobile client application. For more information,

Maintenance.
· Mails
You can read the e-mails that you receive on your
mail client. Your mail client can be either Microsoft
Outlook or Lotus Notes. For more information about mail client
integration, see
Microsoft Outlook and
Lotus Notes Integration Workflow.

If you have configured Microsoft Outlook as your mail client, you can only view the unread mails. If you have configured Lotus Notes as your mail client, then you can view all mails including those that have been read.
· Display Notifications
You can view the latest content that was downloaded during the synchronization process. This enables you to track new, modified, and deleted data. For more information, see Notifications.
· Process Rejections
You can view and process rejections that are triggered when there is a failure after data exchange. You can also navigate to the respective component and rectify the data corresponding to the message. For more information, see Rejections and Rejection Behavior.
· Personalize Settings
This function allows you to personalize the rejections and notifications that you receive in your inbox. For more information, see Personalization.
· Pending Confirmations
You can view and track the transfer of new and modified data that you create on the mobile client. In addition, you also receive a confirmation on the receipt of this data in CRM Enterprise. For more information, see Pending Confirmations.
