Editing Contract Relationships for Combined Statements
On the Contract Relationships
tab page, you can represent the structure of a master contract for the Combined Statement Creation process.
You can assign participant accounts to the master contract. Participant accounts can be checking, savings, and loan accounts.
To predefine the datasets for the data output in the connected Output Management System (OMS), choose the following in Customizing for Financial Services under , under .
To ensure the necessary communication with the account-managing system, the following service interfaces must be configured:

For general information about your navigation options when you are editing participating contracts, see Editing Participants.
You have chosen
(Add Participants
) and are in the dialog box for selecting the participant type and activating applications.
In the Participant Type
group box, choose the contract category Account
.
You can choose an identification key
if required.
Note
If you do not choose an identification key
, identify the participating account in the next step by entering the external account identification. This depends on the settings in Customizing for Account Management, under Define External Account Identification
and the settings in the corresponding account product. Specify the required data in the Bank Key
, Bank Country
, and Account Number
or IBAN
and/or Account Differentiation Characteristic
, and Account Currency
fields.
If you choose an identification key
, identify the participating account in the next step by entering a character string of up to 80 characters in the Identification
field. The composition of this character string depends on the identification key
you choose. You can display the identification key
and the identification
of an account managed in Account Management on the Basic Data tab page.
You can choose an account category
if required.
Activate the Combined Statement
application.
Choose Continue
.
The system displays the Create Master Contract: Participant Contract
dialog box.
If you did not choose an identification key
in the second step, specify the external account identification on the Participating Account
tab page.
If you have selected an identification key
, specify the identification
of the account in the account-managing sytsem in the Participating Contract
group box.

In the Relationship Attributes: Combined Statement
group box, define the following attributes:
Binding Agreement
: You use the binding agreement to determine whether the system is to continue generating regular bank statements in addition to the combined statement for the duration of participation in the master contract with a combined statement agreement. Alternatively, you specify whether the binding bank statement agreement is to be replaced by the combined statement agreement.
Dataset
: Select a suitable dataset (for example, 0001
Combined Statement Data for Checking Accounts
). You use the dataset to control the data output in the connected Output Management System (OMS).
Depending on the settings in these fields for the product, the system displays default values that you can overwrite if you require.
Alternatively, you can set up the Binding Agreement
and Dataset
fields as defined for the product group of the master contract product. Choose
(Transfer Default Values
).
Note
The fields in the group box Information About Contract Relationships
provide information about the hierarchy level of the master contract, and are not ready for input.
Choose Continue
.
The system adds the account as a participant.
