Process documentationIndividualization

You use individualization to determine which fields of a standard condition can be changed for a validity period. The remaining fields are retained for the standard condition that applies at the time. You define the options for these changes in a condition rule set.

The individualization of standard conditions enables you to be more flexible for your bank customers. You can provide individual conditions based on individual agreements but still retain the reference to the standard condition. If you need to adjust the standard conditions, you can let these changes apply in an individual contract but still retain the individual contract agreements of the condition.

The result of the individualization are the individualized conditions that contain a combination of fields from the standard condition and fields that have been changed individually for the contract.

Process

  1. Editing Standard Conditions on the Rule Set Tab Page

    • Specifying the Allowed Replacement Categories

    • Creating Rules in the Condition Rule Set

    • Definition of individual fields and field settings

  2. Editing Individual Conditions

If you have made any settings to individualize the standard condition, the system displays the Individualizations Allowed symbol next to the condition affected. To edit this condition, double click the condition. The system displays the standard condition details. The Create Individualization symbol is available on each tab page.

    • Creating individual conditions in the allowed validity period

      Choose Create Individualization.

Enter a Valid From or a Valid To date.

For more information about the dependencies of the validity periods, see Validity Periods for Individualization.

    • Executing the Individualization

Choose the Individualization tab page. The system displays a list of all the fields that are allowed to be individualized.

Select the fields that you want to individualize and make your settings.

    • You can simulate the results of your settings by choosing Simulate Individualization. In the overview list of standard conditions, the system displays the individualized condition being used.
