Editing Financial Conditions
On the Financial Conditions
tab page, you can set up individual conditions for a contract as agreed with your customers. These are independent of the standard conditions defined for a product.
You can enter these individual conditions (special conditions) when you create a contract or at any time thereafter.
For more information about the screen layout in condition editing, see Editing Conditions under Scope of Functions
.
You have made the relevant Customizing settings in your application for the financial conditions.
You have set up the product of the contract in Customizing so that it is possible to create individual conditions.
You are in the function for creating or editing contracts.
Individual Conditions
You define individual conditions in your application on the Financial Conditions
tab page.
In the Condition Group
group box, the system displays all the condition groups for a contract in a table. If the contract does not have any standard conditions, the table is empty.
Example
In Account Management
in the Condition Overview
group box, you can display all the effective conditions of a condition group for a particular validity period. Choose Display Condition Overview
next to the required condition group. The system displays the standard conditions and any available individual conditions.
If you have made any settings to individualize
the standard condition, the system displays the Individualizations Allowed
symbol next to the relevant condition. For more information about individualization, see Individualization.
To create an individual condition, choose Select Detailed Conditions
from the Condition Groups
group box in the line of the condition group required, or double click the required line.
The system displays the Create Conditions
or Edit Conditions
screen. You are on the entry screen for condition editing, which is the same for individual conditions and standard conditions.
Depending on the condition that you are editing for your condition type, there are various fields, group boxes, and tab pages available. Execute the steps of the relevant procedure as described under Editing Conditions.
The system only displays the settings on the Rule Set
tab page; these cannot be changed. This shows the fields in the standard condition that you defined using the condition rule set.
Note
For more information about the condition rule set, see Editing Rule Sets and Condition Set of Rules.
When the system creates a validity period for the individual condition, it uses the set of rules that are relevant for the valid-from date
of the condition.
In the Replacement Category
field, select the category that you want to create for an individual condition. You can use the replacement categories that you have allowed for the standard condition on the Set of Rules
tab page.
To change the individualized fields of the standard condition for a particular contract, choose Create Individualization
. Make the required settings on the Individualization
tab page.
Save the individual condition by choosing Transfer
.
Save the contract.
You have defined or edited an individual condition for a particular contract.
