Editing Contract Relationships for Compensation
On the Contract Relationships
tab page, you can define the structure of the master contract for a combined settlement for the compensation process.
In Master Contract Management
you have created the participating master contracts that you want to assign.
In the account-managing system you have created the participating accounts that you want to assign to master contracts.
Note
Current (checking), deposit (savings), and loan accounts are allowed as participating accounts.
If you use the Interest Distribution function, the value of the distribution category
for the main master contract must be 5, Post Interest to Participants According to the BAdI: Interest Distribution Among Participants
. In addition, in Customizing for Master Contract Management (FS-MCM)
you must have chosen and implemented the Business Add-In BAdI: Interest Distribution Among Participants
.

Note
You can add as many participating accounts or other master contracts as participants to a master contract as you require.
You chose
( Add Participant
) and are on the dialog box Change Master Contract: Selection
.
In the Participant Type
group box, choose contract category 0003 (master contract)
.
In the Activate Application
group box, set the indicator for the Compensation
application.
Choose Continue
.
The system displays the Create Master Contract: Participant Contract
screen.
In the Participating Master Contract
group box, enter the required master contract number.
Choose Continue
.
The system adds the master contract as a participant.
In the Participant Type
group box, choose contract category 0001 (account)
.
In the Activate Application
group box, set the indicator for the Compensation
application.
Choose Continue
.
The system displays the Create Master Contract: Participant Contract
screen.
In the Participating Account
group box, enter the data for the participating account.
In the Relationship Attributes: Compensation
group box, define the following values:
Condition Type Bundle
Distribution Share
Compensation Share
Note
For the distribution share and the compensation share, you can either enter the values directly or set the Standard Values
indicator (StandVal. DistrShare
or StandVal. CompShare
). If you set the indicator, the system copies the standard values for the distribution share or the compensation share stored in the master contract on the Combined Settlement
tab page.
Credit interest share
If you want the system to post a certain percentage of the credit interest result of a combined settlement to a participating account, enter an individual credit interest share between 0 and 100 % for each participating account.
Debit interest share
If you want the system to post a certain percentage of the debit interest result of a combined settlement to a participating account, enter an individual debit interest share between 0 and 100 % for each participating account.
Note
The total of the credit interest shares and the total of the debit interest shares of all account participating in a master contract must be 100% or 0%.
Participant role
If you want the balances, counters, limits, and settlement results of a participating account to affect the combined settlement results and you want the account to receive a fixed, percentage share of the result, choose Provider and Receiver
as participant role. An account can only participate in one master contract in the role of provider and receiver.
If you do not want the account included in the combined settlement but still want it to receive a fixed percentage share of the result, choose Receiver Only
as participant role. In the role of Receiver Only
, an account can participate in any number of other master contracts as receiver, and in exactly one other master contract as provider and receiver.
Choose Continue
.
The system adds the account as a participant.
