Editing Participation Conditions
On the Participation Conditions
tab page, you can restrict the participation of accounts and master contracts in the main master contract. When you add a participant to the master contract, only participants who meet all conditions are allowed.
Note
On the Basic Data tab page, you can also define participation conditions in notes. However, these are not relevant for checks.
You can use the Enterprise Services of the following business objects:
Current Account Contract
Deposit Account Contract
Loan Contract
Bank Master Contract Bank Account Contract Event
For more information, see SAP Help Portal at .
In Customizing for Master Contract Management under, in the Customizing activity you have activated one or more attributes under the following grouping attributes:
Allowed Business Partner
Allowed Products
Allowed Currencies
Note
Note that, in some cases, it is not possible to define participation conditions on the master contract and to restrict the participants on the product level of the master contract. For more information, see the combination options in the documentation for each attribute.
You can define participation conditions with the following criteria:
Business Partner
Products/Product Groups
Defining Participation Conditions for Products/Product Groups
Currencies
You can define any number of participation conditions for each master contract:
Each participation condition can either be valid for participating account contracts, participating master contracts, or for participants of both contract specializations.
You can specify for the FACILITY master contract that an additional master contract can participate providing the following conditions are met:
Contract holder is the SAMPLEBANK business partner.
Participant is based on the FAC product.
Participant has contract currency USD.
Note
In this example, the participation conditions of the participating master contract must contain at least one subset of the participant conditions of the main master contract. Otherwise the system rejects the assignment to the main master contract, although the master contract meets all participation conditions. If the participating master contract does not have any participation conditions, the system also rejects the participation.
