Procedure

  1. In the Participation Condition: Products/Product Groups group box in the Product field, select the product upon which the allowed participant is to be based.

    Recommendation Recommendation

To define the same participant conditions for multiple products, group the products into product groups first. You then only need to define the participation conditions for the product group.

    End of the recommendation.

    Note Note

You can define a participation condition for either a product or a product goup.

    End of the note.
  2. Specify the contract specialization to which the new participation condition is to apply for participants.

    • If the participation condition is to apply for participating master contracts, set the Relevant for Master Contract indicator.

    • If the participation condition is to apply for participating account contracts, set the Relevant for Account Contract indicator.

    • If the participation condition is to apply for participating master contracts and for participating account contracts, set the Relevant for Master Contract and Relevant for Account Contract indicators.

  3. Save your entries.

Result

If you add a participant to a master contract on the Contract Relationships tab page, the system checks whether this participant fulfills all the participation conditions of the main master contract. The system does not save the contract relationship unless this is the case.
