Example: Charge for the Determination of Pricing Criteria
You wish to levy a regular charge for a master contract for the determination of pricing criteria that you want the customer to pay in advance. The amount of the charge is fixed, and whether or not the customer has actually received preferred prices is irrelevant.
Note
Although a master contract for the determination of pricing criteria has no participants, you configure the charge as a combined settlement charge. To do so, use the Combined Settlement (FS-MCM-CSL) component.
In order that the system calculates and posts the charge in the defined intervals, you can define time periods for every combined settlement track.
Note
You can either define the time periods in Customizing for Master Contract Management under , or on the master contract on the Combined Settlement tab page in the Time Periods
group box.
Example
To levy the charge in advance when the contract is concluded and then annually, choose as period factor
1 and as period unit
