Central Settings
You make central settings for the entire corporate group. This does not mean that these settings then become valid for the entire corporate group. Instead, they constitute proposals created centrally at the corporate level that can be accepted as relevant by the individual organizational units. The central settings represent master data, but are generally time-dependent.
You can make the central settings in the corresponding applications or load the data from a CSV file into the system (see Uploading Central Settings).
The power user has made the following settings in Customizing for MIC:
· Edit Attribute Values

The attribute values appear in the input help function for the creation of objects. For this reason, it is advisable that you establish in advance what attributes exist and then specify useful values for them.
· Structure Setup ® Specify Number Ranges (only necessary if a separate number range is required for each object type)
· Structure Setup ® Set Up Transport Connection
· Edit Roles (see also Roles and Authorization Concept)
For more information, see the documentation on the IMG activities.

4. The authorized person defines the account group hierarchy.
5. The authorized person documents the organizational units falling within the project scope.
6. The authorized person sets up the central process catalog.
7. The authorized person sets up the management control catalog.
Persons with authorization for the internal controls at the organizational unit level can now accept any central settings relevant to that organizational unit and make any additional settings they require. For more information, see Settings for the Organizational Unit.
