Purpose

Each organizational unit defined in the organizational hierarchy must specify which centrally-defined settings are valid for that organizational unit.

Process Flow

...

       1.      The organizational unit specifies which processes from the central process catalog should be included in the project scope (see Processes in Scope).

       2.      The organizational unit adopts the processes that fall within the project scope - as well as any required process steps defined for these processes - from the central process catalog (see Accepting Processes).

       3.      The process steps representing controls are documented by the organizational unit (see Documenting Controls).

       4.      The organizational unit specifies whether an account group is significant for that organizational unit (see Significance of Account Groups for Organizational Unit).

       5.      The organizational unit accepts the centrally-defined management controls (see Accepting Management Controls).
