When creating and processing RFQs and quotations, you can enter data in the AFS system at SKU level. Special AFS functions are also available for you to use. SKU values can be copied from a reference object and from grid control data (purchase grid).

The processing of data at SKU level in RFQs and quotations essentially corresponds to the procedure in all purchasing documents.

• Via you come to the SKU Overview screen from the item overview. Here you can specify RFQ and quotation quantities, the stock category, and the delivery date for each SKU. In addition, the system displays the schedule line number, the delivery completed indicator, quantities already received, and the additional material number.
• In RFQs, you can specify underdelivery and overdelivery tolerances for each SKU in the SKU Overview screen. To do this, double click on the RFQ quantity, select an SKU, and choose in the standard toolbar next to the table view on the right. If you have assigned a vendor before processing the SKU data of the RFQ, default values for the underdelivery and overdelivery tolerances as well as the UCC and EAN/UPC numbers will be copied from the purchasing info record to the detail view. The system also displays in the detail view the reference document, the quantity of goods received, the quantity issued, and the delivered quantity from stock transfers.
• In RFQs you can round SKU values and specify quantities using a predefined distribution profile (presizing) just as you can in other purchasing documents. If you have already assigned a vendor before processing the SKU data of the RFQ, the rounding factor can be copied from the purchasing info record or the grid control data.
• In RFQs and quotations you can determine the route from your vendor to your plant via Route determ., as long as you have already specified a vendor for your RFQ. If you double click on the Material, you can see information on the route displayed.
• In the quotation you can specify prices at SKU level. To do this, choose in the item overview. You can find more information on the manually entry of prices in the documentation on Pricing.
