Defining the Planning Period The following application-specific basic time components exist for detailed scheduling:
A planning period in which the schedule can be changed (that is, in which operations and orders can be scheduled, rescheduled or deallocated)
An earliest possible start date/time at which an operation or order can be scheduled or rescheduled
A latest possible date/time at which an order or operation can be scheduled or rescheduled
