Call Up the Alert Monitor You can call up the Alert Monitor in the DS planning board . By doing this, you can display scheduling problems; for example, a resource overload.The following table summarizes for which objects the system creates alerts.

You can also display particular scheduling problems directly in the planning board by customizing the graphical objects accordingly: You can, for example, specify that delayed orders are displayed graphically in a different way to orders that are on time. For more information, see Detailed Scheduling Planning Board (DS Planning Board) .
In the planning board, you can highlight graphical objects that are affected by alerts depending on the alert type ; that is, depending on whether there is an error, a warning or information for this object.
You have defined a
PP/DS alert profile
for the
Alert Monitor
using the alert types that are relevant for your scheduling with the DS planning board and are entered in the following places:
For the DS planning board that is called up directly, you specify the PP/DS alert profile in the initial screen of the DS planning board or in the overall profile.If you do not specify an alert profile, all alerts are displayed.
If you want to call up the DS planning board
in the order view or in the product planning table, you enter the PP/DS alert profile in Customizing for the
order view
or the
product planning table
