Use
You can use automatic distribution for a proposal in the proposal pool to ensure that standard texts are translated consistently and automatically throughout the system.
For example, you can set automatic distribution to ensure that the translations (usually the system standard) of source texts such as Back, Cancel, Save, etc. are automatically distributed to wherever they occur in new objects to be translated.
For more information, see
Automatic Distribution.Prerequisites
Before you can set automatic distribution from the proposal pool, the source text must have been translated manually at least once, so that a proposal exists for it in the proposal pool.
In order to set automatic distribution for a proposal in the proposal pool, you need to have Coordinator status for proposal pool maintenance in your translator profile in transaction SLWA. For more information, see
Creating Translator Profiles.Procedure
For information on how to access the proposal pool, see
The proposal(s) you have selected will now be flagged with the SAP standard icon in the proposal pool.
Result
From now on, the proposal that you have set for automatic distribution will be automatically distributed (in other words, inserted into the translation line for all objects where the corresponding source text occurs) the next time you schedule an automatic distribution run. This means that in future the respective source text will be translated automatically using the proposal you have selected.
Translators can recognize the source texts that are translated by means of automatic distribution, because they will be marked with the SAP standard icon in the short text editor.
Translators with status lower than Coordinator will not be able to change this proposal from now on. It will be marked with the SAP standard icon in the proposal pool.
