Setting Object Types for Automatic Distribution

Use

You can use the Distribution function in transaction SLWA to define the object types in which automatic distribution should take place during evaluations.

You can then run automatic distribution when you run an evaluation in transaction SLWB. For more information, see Automatic Distribution.

Prerequisites

Your user profile must contain authorization object S_ADMI_FCD with value TRNL in the field System Administration Function.

Your translator profile must contain authorization A6 (Automatic distribution administration) with value 1.

You (or another coordinator) have assigned object groups for translation. For more information, see Defining Object Groups for Translation.

You need to activate the flag Distribute in assigned packages + object types under Distribution in transaction STMA. You need to do this for all source and target language combinations for which automatic distribution is to take place. For more information, see Proposal Pool Administration: Distribution.

You also need to activate the flag Automatic distribution in transaction SLWB each time you run an evaluation. For more information, see Creating an Evaluation Run.

Procedure

Call up transaction SLWA.

Select your target language under the tab title Target language.

Choose the tab title Distribution.

The system displays all the object types in the system.

Select the object types you require and choose Distribute.

Result

The next time an evaluation is run (with the Automatic distribution flag activated), automatic distribution will take place in the object types you defined you defined here and in accordance with the parameters you defined in transaction STMA.

To stop distribution in object types that are defined for distribution, select the object types and choose Do not distribute.
