  1. In the Product Safety or Structure linkDangerous Goods Management menu, choose Phrases ® Edit Phrases.

Note

You can also access the function from the Industrial Hygiene and Safety und Waste Management menus.

The initial screen appears.
  1. On the initial screen, enter your search criteria (see Searching for Phrases) and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The hit list appears (see Basic Functions in the Hit List).

  1. Select the phrases you want to edit.

The functions in the Edit menu are available for use.

A double-click in the phrase text opens the text editor where you can format your text. When the text is printed out on a report, all formatting (character formats, paragraph formats, and so on) is retained. The prerequisite for this is that the environment parameter LONGTEXT_FORMAT_SUPPORT must be set in Customizing for Product Safety.
  1. You can edit the phrases further using the functions in the Goto and Extras menus.

Note

If you have selected more than one phrase in the hit list, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text to navigate to the next phrase.
