  1. In the Product Safety menu or in Structure linkStructure linkDangerous Goods Management choose one of the following paths:

The initial screen appears. You can start phrase search from here. During the search, all entries are linked with AND.

The system supports the language-dependent full-text phrase search in the Phrase code and Phrase text fields.

Note

Search strings in language-dependent search fields are not converted by EH&S Native Language Support. Consequently, you can only enter search strings in languages that can be mapped using the active code page for the application server.

If the symbol for a generic search (*) is placed to the right of the search string in the Phrase text field, then only the first 132 characters of a phrase are searched for (Physician*, for example). If not, a full-text search is run (Phys*ician*, for example, or *Physician*).

  1. Enter the required data, insofar as it is known to you. The SAP System supports the search for any missing data as follows:

The search distinguishes between upper and lower case letters. You must therefore observe upper and lower case letters in the key.

Note

The language field is automatically set to the logon language. You can change it as required. If the phrase does not exist in the required language, it will be displayed in the language in which it was created.

Result

In the hit list, the SAP System lists the phrases that correspond to the search criteria.

If the SAP System does not find the required phrase, you can enter new search criteria, or create the phrase yourself.
