A type of waste approval.

Use

Depending on the type of waste, where it is generated and disposed of, and the associated regulations and laws, various different waste approvals are required. Each waste approval therefore belongs to a waste approval type. You specify waste approval types according to your requirements in the IMG activity Specify Waste Approval Types in Customizing for Waste Management.

Example

Waste approval types can be:

Germany: Waste approval (Entsorgungsnachweis), simplified waste approval, collective waste approval

United Kingdom: Transfer note, consignment note

European Union: Notification form

Integration

You specify the waste approval type when you create a waste approval.

The waste approval type controls data entry and further processing of the data in the waste approval. This means you can only assign an authority-assigned number for a waste approval once, unless you have set the Coll.WasteAppr. (collective waste approval) indicator in the IMG activity Specify Waste Approval Types in Customizing for Waste Management.
