Setting Up the Extractor for Custom Subassignments 

Use

In the source system (EC-CS), you use custom subassignments and would also like to employ them in the InfoCube for Consolidation transaction data.

You must have carried out the following steps (for details, see Integration of BW and EC-CS):

1. Create a new InfoCube, using InfoCube 0EC_CS_C01 as a template.
2. In the BW system, identify an existing InfoObject for each custom subassignment, or create a new InfoObject.
3. Add these InfoObjects to the InfoCube for transaction data.
4. Create a new dimension in the InfoCube, or assign the InfoObjects for the custom subassignments to an existing dimension.
5. Extend InfoSource 0EC_CS_1. Here, you have to add the custom subassignments to the communication structure.
6. Carry out the further steps described in the following sections:

• Setting Up the Transaction Data Extractor (without Cumulative Key Figures); or
• Setting Up the Transaction Data Extractor (with Cumulative Key Figures)
