Previous , Next (Functions)
With the functions Previous or Next , the user can navigate back and forth between the fullscreen display of entries of a higher-level list or table. If the individual items of the higher-level list are documents, for example, then the functions are called Previous document and Next document.
If the user selects a subset of lines in the list/table (see
Select/Deselect (Function)), the functions only navigate between these selected lines.Constant Retention of the Original Object Component View
If the user activates an object component with
Choose (Function) from the list/table and this screen contains further screens for the object component he or she can view, the original view displayed for the object component chosen at the beginning is displayed with Previous , Next .Exception: If there are contents-related reasons, the current view can be maintained after Previous , Next .
List/Table as Further Object Components
If, after choosing an object component from the list or table, this object component again consists of a list/table the user can use to activate a "sub-component of object" screen, then Previous , Next only navigates to the current level.
Navigating to the First and Last Object Component
If the user chooses Previous or Next on the first or last displayed object component of the list/table, the developer can choose between two procedures, depending on the application:
The user can view a particular object component with the function
Other (Function).
