Starting up and Shutting down the Database System
You can use SAPDBA to start up and shut down the database system. You should use the commands STARTSAP and STOPSAP for normal database and SAP system startups and shutdowns.
You can also use the SAPDBA command options
-startup , -startup_dba , - shutdown , -shutdown_abort to start or stop the database system ( SAPDBA Command Mode).SAPDBA also supports the start up of ORACLE databases with OPS configuration (see also
