You use this activity to create engineering change orders (see Engineering Change Order (ECO)).
This activity allows you to do the following:
Associate SFC numbers with specific ECOs, allowing product that is active on the shop floor to be changed according to defined specifications
Define specific changes to product on the shop floor
If you want shop floor personnel to submit change requests, you can set up the Create Message
activity as a button in the POD (see Create Message and Setting
Up Engineering Change Order (ECO)).
In POD Maintenance
, you can set up one or more PODs to execute the ECO Processing
(SU610
) activity from the Start
button.
