This command is responsible for creating a new record in repository. Mandatory input parameters: - Record for creation. Optional input parameters: - Parent record ID - Position of a new record in the set of children records Output parameter: - none

CreateRecordCommand

Creates a new instance of this command by context.

Parameters:
ctx - the user session context.
Method Detail

getParentRecordId

public RecordId getParentRecordId()
Gets parent record ID.

Returns:
the parentRecordId

setParentRecordId

public void setParentRecordId(RecordId parentRecordId)
Sets parent record ID (optional). This parameter is relevant only for hierarchy table and is ignored for flat table. If not specified then the record is added as a root record

Parameters:
parentRecordId - the parentRecordId to set

getPosition

public int getPosition()
Gets record position

Returns:
the position

setPosition

public void setPosition(int position)
Sets record position (optional). This parameter is relevant only for hierarchy table and is ignored for flat table. If position is not specified then the record as appended as the last root record (when parent ID is not specified) or as the last child record (when parent ID is specified).

Parameters:
position - the position in the hierarchy level.

isCommitOnWarning

public boolean isCommitOnWarning()
Indicates whether the record should be committed if the record failed the "warning" validations.

Returns:
true to commit, false otherwise

Indicates whether the record should be committed if the record failed the "warning" validations.
